About Course
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is a system for defining and communicating engineering tolerances. It uses a symbolic language on engineering drawings. Understanding these concepts will reduce the cost of production as it will lower the rejection of components which are functional. This course covers the fundamental elements of GD&T, symbols, and explains its significance. Precision measurement devices are discussed briefly.
Representing GD&T in a CAD software ( Autodesk Fusion 360) has also been demonstrated.
