Domain- Casting / Hydraulics products
B.E Mechanical Engineering with minimum 1-3 years of experience in the following area.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Thorough understanding of product design and development principles, with strong problem-solving skills.
- To develop new innovative product concepts/ideas in 3D modelling tools
- Mechanical component & mechanism design calculation, DFMEA, testing
- Develop assembly and component drawings for as per ASME and Industry standards.
- Perform product customization & release engineering documents for customer, production
- Application of Geometric dimension and tolerance, stack-up analysis on component and assembly drawings.
- Evaluate and support manufacturing, supplier and customer requests.
- Design of castings and forgings as per ASME and Industry standards
- Build prototypes and testing
Background & Skills
- The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- BE/B.TECH In Mechanical engineering with 2-4 years of relevant experience in engineering/product design experience in relevant domain.
- DFMEA, Risk Management & DVPR for new product development &/or existing product improvements
- Hands on experience in Root Cause Analysis
- Hands on exposure to engineering standard like ASME / ISO related to Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T), Stack Up analysis, checklists, etc.
- Familiar with Engineering change management process and execution of changes thru PLM or any other system
- Good Knowledge of manufacturing process like machining, casting and forgingHands on experience in CAD tools like ProE, UG NX
- Knowledge of Hydraulics products added advantage
- Advantage to have experience working with Industrial applications like Injection molding machines, press breaks etc.
